Chandelier was founded in Hackney, London, in September 2013 to exhibit contemporary art in a range of media. To accompany each project, we publish writing that further expands upon or contextualises the artist's work.
Between 2013-15 we were housed in the studio of artist Karen Knorr, who acted as mentor and patron to our programme. At this point we are an organisation with no physical home.
The programme is organised/curated by Daniel C. Blight and Karen Knorr, with a number of artists, curators and writers regularly contributing to the programme.
